We offer a large and beautiful house in the suburb of New York City, in the very residential village of Crestwood!
We have four bedrooms; one master with a king size bed (2 people), one with a queen size (2 people, one baby/infant room (1-2 kids), one queen in the attic (2 people) and an inflatable queen bed if necessary (2 people).
The basement has been all re-done.
There is one large living room, a kitchen and a dining room where all the family can eat. It's a typical 1937 american home, with wooden floors and a lovely fireplace. We have travelled a lot so the decoration is pretty charming and international.
Our car is at your dsiposal!
I am Carole and am from France; Shawn is American and comes from California; we have a 17 months old baby boy called Maxime and another one on the way due in October. We are both professionals (I manage the Transporation Operations for the United Nations Headquarters and Shawn is a physical therapist) and we enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country or state as a resident - and allow someone to see ours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the USA.
From 4 to 26 July 2007.
