Country Cottage in Chester Springs. My home is very comfortable; large living room, dining room, well equiped kitchen, sitting room and outdoor dining areas. Two bedroom, one very large and one is small. 1&1/2 baths, piano and garden.

  1. I am 66 yrs young, retired, with five grown children and 9 gradchildren who live in various places around USA. I love to ride my bike (excellent biking area)and walk. I have two dogs and a large garden. Enjoy going to the many art museums in the area. The Brandywine Museum with Andrew Wyeth's paintings is 1/2 hr away and near Longwood Garden. Love to travel. Play the piano (Steinway Grand. x/c ski in winter. Spent many years working in the Land Trust community protecting farmland and open spaces. Looking forward to new adventures.

Located on dirt road in horse country. Riding stables amd carriage rides available in immediate area. Pond (with boat) and stream on property. Good walking on country roads. Within walking distance of Historic Yellow Springs and a great bakery, 15 minutes to Marsh Creek State Park, 1/2 hr from Valley Forge National Park, 3/4 hour from Philadelphia, 2 1/2 hrs from New York City, 3 hrs from Washington DC. 1/2 hr from Devon Horse Show(Late May to early June)Largest outdoor horse show in US. Lots of good restaurants and shopping within 20 min.
