Notre maison

This is a 2 story brick row house, about 125 years old.It is in good repair. It is something like a medium size apartment - about 1650 square feet, plus an unfinished basement and sizeable brick patio. It has an entrance hall, a living room, a dining room, a gallery kitchen, and a full bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor it has a hall, full bathroom, and three bedrooms. There is a large stained glass sky light in the hall. The third bedroom also serves as a computer and TV room. The bathrooms are not en suite. The furnishings are somewhat formal. The house is in the heart of Georgetown in Washington, D.C.It is within walking distance to "everything".You do not need a car to get around.Buses are on the corner. Parking is on the street. There are several parking lots and garages. This is a perfect location to visit or explore Washington. It is also a good base from which to explore Mount Vernon, Monticello, Harper's Ferry, Gettysburg, the Shenandoah Valley, and the like.///

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a lawyer - professor, and a psycotherapist. We can travel almost any time. Our favorite pastime is walking, particularly in urban areas.

The neighborhood includes many fine brick houses from the 1700s, Georgetown University, the Potomac River, the C and O Canal, dozens of restaurants, many churches and synagogues and many shops. It is an "urban village" with its own character, but in the heart of the Washington metroploitan area. It is a perfect place to view what goes on in Washington and environs.
