Notre maison

Located on a quiet cul de sac, our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has an open plan with a large kitchen, dining room, living room and adjoining lanai to relax and dine al fresco. We have an office/library, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom and lanai with a beautiful view of Waikoloa Village and the Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and Kohala mountains. Our laundry room has a futon if needed. The yard is fully fenced and gated. You can pick papayas, passion fruit, figs, pineapples and enjoy palm trees and tropical flowers. Pet care can be arranged, if you wish. Surrounded by the Parker Ranch, the largest privately owned working ranch in the United States, Waikoloa Village offers a shopping centre, community swimming pool, tennis and golfing, just a 2 minute drive from our house. Hawaii is a prime tourist destination with every adventure/experience opportunity you desire, including helicopter tours, scuba diving, snorkeling, whale watching, swimming with dolphins, horseback ranch riding, bicycle tours, coffee farm tours, luaus, star gazing among the Mauna Kea’s observatories and MORE!

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Born in Canada, with Belgian heritage, we moved to Hawaii 15 years ago. Angeline and her sister Noelle are both in the field of education. Angeline is the Executive Director of a Montessori school, and Noelle is the Program Director and Lead Teacher at the school. Angeline has a young daughter who is currently attending the Montessori Elementary program. In winter months, our parents come from Canada to live with us for the season. This would be our first home exchange experience. We will be going back to visit our families in Belgium and France this summer (2007). We regularly go back to Canada in summers as well, and in future would like to visit our brother who is a teacher in Taiwan.

Our Village is a 15 minute drive from the Kohala coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The coast boasts beautiful white sand beaches and world class resorts. Hapuna Beach and Mauna Kea Beach were both listed in Conde Nast’s top ten beaches of the world. By Hawaii law, all beaches are made accessible to the public, including resort beaches. The Fairmont Orchid, Mauna Lani Bay, Hapuna Prince, Waikoloa Beach Marriott and the Hilton Waikoloa Village resorts are a 10-15 minute drive from the house, with spa amenities, tennis, golf and many galleries, fine dining and shopping opportunities. Kailua-Kona, home of Ironman and the famous Kona Coffee, is a 45 minute drive to the south. Waimea-Kamuela, the heart of Parker Ranch and Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy) country, is 30 minutes north. Hilo is a scenic 2 hour drive along the historical Hamakua Coast. Volcanoes National Park is 2 ½ hours away. Visiting the Big Island of Hawaii is a unique and special opportunity to experience Hawaiian culture and the spirit of Aloha.
