Notre maison
Wehave a beautiful home in a valley surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Deck and patio and huge trees and flower gardens. Very low maintenance. I have an indoor/outdoor cat so appreciate my tenants making sure she has food and fresh water every day. You do not have to let her in the house. She has two cozy garages to sleep and eat in. Sometimes we take her with us.
The Master Bath has a big walk in shower and the guest bath has a tub/shower. We decided for two people we never use the dining room table, so we got rid of it and put an expensive massage chair in its place. :-)
We love being able to walk out our door and enjoy the rocky mountains while sitting on our porch drinking a hot cappuccino in the mornings. The brisk mountain air rejuvenates us and reminds us why we love it here so much. Being within walking distance of hiking trails, biking trails and a huge fly fishing river is also a plus. Only one hour to ski resorts. 45 minutes to the airport and we have no REAL traffic in Montana. The whole state only has 950,000 people and its the 4th largest state in the nation, so our skies are clear with no smog or pollution and that is why we are called the Big Sky Country. 6.8 people per square mile.

Carole :I am a very active senior. I I have been working hard all my life.(it seems!) I have owned and operated a Mexican restaurant in the Rocky Mountains of Montana for 26 years. Now that my business has sold it is time to smell the roses again.
After being single for 20 years and living and travelling alone, I now have a "boyfriend" who would love to come with me. He is very active also, and a handy fix it kind of guy. :-) We are both snowbirds and met in Arizona this last winter. (2015)
Warren: He is a retired University Professor and was also President of several Dental Labs around the USA. He has a PHD in Organizational Skills and so he is good at business. He has been a snowbird for 8 years so its easy for us to get away most anytime.
House exchanging or sitting offers us all the comforts of home but with a whole different view out the window. We are very clean and organized people. We will respect and take VERY good care of your place. As if it were our own. Warren loves to stay busy with cleaning and fixing things. We are not ones to just sit around

Get away from it all and enjoy an authentic mountain rental in the most scenic valley in Montana, the Bitterroot Valley. Conveniently stretching south from the growing and eclectic city of Missoula, the Bitterroot Valley is nestled between two majestic mountain ranges with a beautiful freestone river that flows for 90 scenic miles. Victor is a sleepy , postcard-pretty community in the foothills of the Bitterroot Mountain Range. Some of the best hunting and fishing in the world is found here, and the 3rd largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states borders the valley. There is a lot to do and even more to see.
It is situated in a picturesque area surrounded by a 2000 acre cattle ranch so very quiet and peaceful. Not many neighbors. However it is close to a major city for your "city fix". lots of shopping and culture. Lots of places to fly fish, hike, cycle, ski, horse back ride with lots of nice restaurants.(www.bitterrootvalleychamber.com) Very country. Only a few hours to Canada,Glacier National Park,(www.glacier.nationalparks.org) Yellowstone National Park, Idaho and Washington. Very centrally located for seeing the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
I have a cat who is easy maintenance and is fine staying outdoors but I need someone who is willing to feed her and give her fresh water every day. I will do the same for your pets.
As a side note, the house is really not kid friendly, so if you have small ones it probably won't work. Children under 13 not allowed.
