Notre maison

Our home has two bedrooms each with it own bathroom and w/c. The downstairs bedroom has a jacuzzi tub and currently has two twin beds. If needed I would replace with a queen size bed. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed There is a separate w/c off kitchen on first floor. . There is a large loft upstairs overlooking the living/dining area. We use this for our computer area and a reading area. The loft gives the home an open spacious feel. There is a wood deck off the downstair bedroom accessed through french doors. The deck overlooks a wooded area. There is a view of a small pond that attracts Canada geese, egrets and other types of water birds. Several species of birds can be seen in the wooded area. I think you'd find our home comfortable and livable. Our furniture is eclectic.

My husband and I are both retired from civil service positions with the State of Florida. Other than finding someone to care for our pets our dates are flexible. We have a dog and several cats. They will be staying elsewhere.

We are quite near a major city park featuring walking trails, tennis courts, raquetball courts, baseball and soccer fields. Our neighborhood has a private pool for the exclusive use of residents and guests. A short drive away is a 26 mile bike path through wooded areas ending at the St Marks river. There are also rentals available in that area for kayaking and white water canoeing or lake canoeing. A fifteen minute drive takes you to world famous Wakulla Springs where several movies have been filmed. There you can picnic, swim in the clear spring water, take a glass bottom boat ride or a jungle cruise to view Florida flora and fauna including our alligators. There are also Indian mounds and a re-created Indian village of the Indians who once inhabited this area. We are not a cosmopolitan area but more a place for the outdoor enthusiast or histrorically interested.
Within a 90 minute drive we have stunning white sand beaches always rated as being the best in the USA. We have several state parks in our area with camping, swimming, fishing, boating, birdwatching, scalloping, and many other activities available.
