Notre maison

Our home is a clean, smoke free floating Home. It doesn't have a steering because it doesn't go anywhere! It floats! It is a two bedroom house floating on water. It located just where the tides go in and out, and the houseboat moves up and down with the tide ever so gently. Windows are everywhere. Sunlight fills this plant filled home. This is a rustic yet elegant lifestyle. We have two bedrooms, one bedroom is downstairs and has been turned into an office with it's own bathroom. The master bedroom is upstairs and is a kind of crows nest. We have sleep number beds that feel like sleeping on a cloud. The bedroom leads directly to the large upper deck that has views of Mt. Tam. This large deck has teak tables, benches and chairs, a large umbrella and a large BBQ that is perfect for cooking outdoors. We have a microwave and small convection oven that we mostly cook with instead of the larger oven, and we also have a latte machine that makes incredible lattes. The weather changes throughout the day. It can be warm and sunny, then turn cold in the evening, so bring a sweater to watch the sunsets.

Options et accessibilité

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We want two weeks in September or October 2010. We are flexible from our noted dates. We have a cat, but that is optional. We can board him if you don't want to deal with him. He is a Maine Coon who is friendly, warm and loving, especially when you feed him his favorite cat tuna. If you don't like cats, arrangements can be made to board him elsewhere. We are a non-smoking professional couple that have been married for over 20 years and love living on a houseboat. We also enjoy reading and have a small library on the landing of the stairwell. Our books range from science fiction to biography to mysteries. I am a photographer and graphic designer, and my husband is a Project Manager for a Computer company. We like living in the floating homes community because it is unique, and offers a different lifestyle. Everything on a houseboat has to be both artistic and functional! We both enjoy metaphysical and psychic studies and enjoy both the reality of these and the science fiction. Our books reflect our range of interest.
