Notre maison

Our home has two bedrooms, one of which is used as an office and the other with a comfortable queen-size bed. The kitchen has the standard amenities, less a dishwasher. The living room and adjoining dining room have 12' ceilings, lots of windows, and a 32" TV/DVD player, with surround sound and premium cable. The balcony has a barbeque. The bathroom has a tub and shower. Neighbors are very quiet, and expect the same from each other's guests.

Heidi and I (Jeff) have both lived in this area for decades, and especially enjoy the outdoors. I write professionally and she works for a local town government. I have been to London many times, and look forward to returning. I've had very good experiences with home exchanges, and can supply London references, if desired. We are both 50ish, take good care of our home, and will do the same in your home. We will also do everything we can to make sure you are comfortable and oriented here.

Our townhouse is located on a quiet, protected, 10-acre marsh where deer and many wild birds, such as herons, live or visit. Even otters can sometimes be seen from our balcony. The marsh adjoins a large open space that offers great hiking with magnificent views of S.F. Bay. The historic town of Tiburon is just 3 minutes walk from here, with more than a dozen good restaurants, a 3-screen movie theater, 2 grocery stores, and many shops. The Golden Gate Bridge is 15 minutes by car, or a ferry 5 minutes walk from here goes frequently to San Francisco, Angel Island, or sightseeing around S.F. Bay. You'll receive a key to a double tennis court 75 yards away, and have access to a gorgeous new library 3 walking minutes away, where many DVDs and music CDs are available. Cronkite Beach is a 25-minute drive, Mt. Tam State Park, with its many beautiful trails is also nearby, along with walking & bike paths by the bay a few minutes from here. Elsewhere, Yosemite Nat. Park is 3.5 hours, Santa Cruz & Monterey Aquarium 2 hours, Napa Valley 45 minutes, Berkeley 25 minutes, Mendocino 3.5 hours, Los Angeles 6 hours, Point Reyes Nat. Seashore 1 hour, and the list goes on.
