Notre maison

This is a one-bedroom apartment in a residential area of San Francisco. The building has six apartments, three floors and this is on the top floor. It's a 1930's building and has nice wooden built-in cabinets, high ceilings, bay windows and wood floors. There is an attractive view facing east.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I am interested in an exchange in the London area either in March - April or in July - August of 2009 for two - four weeks. As to the exact days, I am flexible.

The Inner Richmond is situated between two large parks -- Mt. Lake Park with tennis courts, golf course and hiking trails -- and Golden Gate Park with many features including the newly-designed DeYoung Museum. The apartment is within walking distance of both -- five to twenty-five minutes -- and forty-five minutes to Ocean Beach and the Palace of the Legion of Honor. It is close to a lively shopping street and three bus lines. It's about a 25 minute bus ride to the center of the city. San Francisco is a wonderful walking city even though it is hilly. It is light and bright and full of Victorian and Edwardian architecture, churches, museums, skyscrapers and gorgeous views of the bay. Weather in this neighborhood is on the cool side in the mornings, warmer in the afternoons. It is a five-minute drive to the Golden Gate Bridge, a gateway to Mt. Tamalpais, the Napa Valley, Sonoma and the northern coast.
