Notre maison

Charming three-story 100-year-old brick row-home with exposed brick, original random width pine floors, and a brand new deck off the second floor on East Passyunk Avenue in the historic-turned-hip Italian market area of South Philadelphia. First floor has a large, sunny living room and an eat-in kitchen with a sliding glass door to a tiny brick courtyard with tons of hanging ivy. Second floor has a bedroom/office, uniquely tiled bathroom, and a deck, third floor is the master bedroom with a dramatic cathedral ceiling and fabulous view of Philadelphia's skyline, which may be tiny, but we love it! New heat and central air installed a year ago. New windows and door installed this year. Freshly painted.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I am a 36-year-old woman, a writer, respectful of property and privacy, and an excellent plant-waterer/cat-feeder/dog-walker. I'm also an arts administrator and have connections to most of the performing arts organizations in Philadelphia. If an exchange with you works out, I can get you tickets to some of the coolest theatre, music and dance in Philadelphia.

My house is conveniently located just one block from the historic Italian market, a European-style outdoor market with fresh produce, fish, butcher shops, cheese and other specialty shops. It is just five blocks from Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts (, and less than 10 blocks from center city with its many performing arts venues (,,, and many others), and five-star restaurants ( Old City, the gallery section of the city (,, is a 20 minute walk or short bus ride away.

Additionally, New York is an easy two hour train ride away, as is Washington, DC. The New Jersey shore is a one hour drive, as is Valley Forge National Park. Many other parks and nature reserves surround Philadelphia and are easy to get to by bike or car.
