Notre maison
Very large living room, medium-sized dining room and small kitchen (as is standard in New York), it has two full bathrooms and four other rooms that we use as two bedrooms and two enormous studies. Each of the studies has a sofa that opens into a large bed, so there can be four bedrooms and the house can accommodate 4 couples or 9 people. Fully furnished, all appliances including dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. Air conditioned. Radio/TV/VCR/DVD player and many many music CDs.
There is also a "doorman" with a staff that can make repairs, receive packages, let you in if you forget your keys.

Our house is located on what many say is the most desirable little street in Manhattan, Washington Mews, in the center of Greenwich Village in Manhattan. It is located on an old cobbled street where traffic is not allowed so it is extremely quiet. The neighborhood is perhaps the most exciting in New York. It has hundreds of restaurants and coffee houses, from the cheapest to the most expensive, within walking distance. It is near New York University (where we both teach) which has many events open to the public. One-half block away is Washington Square Park marked by a large arch, a fountain, playgrounds, gardens, bocce court, chess tables, and many other features. The location is very close to all the NY subway lines.
