Notre maison

I live in the oldest and one of the more beautiful co-ops in Manhattan. The buildings are tutor style with a gorgeous common garden. You can see photos and read about the apartments here: http://hudsonviewgardens.com. I bought the apartment in October 2008. My furniture is new and modern style and bought new kitchen appliances. My apartment has two bedrooms, a living room, and kitchen. There are laundry facilities a block away, some of which provide pick up and delivery. The apartment is near beautiful Fort Tryon Park and you peek can peek at a lively playground from the kitchen window, across the street, called Bennett Park. There is also a small child's playground on the property. Within a couple blocks there are many stores and all ammenities. The express A train is two blocks away and can take you anywhere in Manhattan in half an hour or less.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I am a college English professor living with my ten year old son and dog. I will can board my dog or we can care for each other's dogs. There is some nice art original art hanging in the apartment, and pottery, which is important to me. I love travelling and hope to make summer and January holiday exchanges a regular habit, whenever affordable. I'd love to escape somewhere warm (Caribbean) in January, when I have time off. In summer, I'd like to spend time with relatives in CA, especially Santa Monica, visit Europe, or check out Seattle or Portland. I would also love to exchange with Santa Barbara, where I have a dear friend.

Our neighborhood has lots parks and offers great fast access to the rest of Manhattan and the other boroughs. There is lots of green in the immediate neighborhood, and really beautiful landscaping, some of which you can see on the co-op site. There are places to hike, like Ft Tryon Park, and lots of places of cultural interest, such as The Cloisters. We also have many festivals. This is a VERY friendly neighborhood in New York City, which I think you would quickly fall in love with. There are several excellent restuarants from many cultures. We are also a twenty minute subway ride from most major museums and Central Park and a half hour from Greenwich Village.
