Notre maison

We have a nice home with 3 floors, a sunny sitting room with skylights, a carpeted back room with slider glass doors to deck, open kitchen and dining room, bathroom on first floor, second floor 3 bedrooms, very large, air conditioning throughout house, bathroom, spiral staircase upstairs leading to 2 finished rooms.

We are a family of four. I am a school teacher and the girls are well behaved (ages 9 and 13). We are coming to Spain summer of 2008 to study Spanish and meet other Spanish families and children.We are also coming to Ireland and hope to find an exchange home there as well. We have done 3 exchanges that were very successful, we are very responsible, we keep things clean and safe, are quiet and don't smoke. We are especially interested in staying in a town where there are activities for children and/or a town near the beach on the Costa de Luz and/or Madrid, Salamanca or Denia
Also,we are interested in school year exchanges to Florida and other US places, also Caribbean.

The house is located in downtown Montclair, a vibrant neighborhood outside of New York City. You can walk everywhere from the house, restaurants, shopping, local pools, parks,art museum, children's activities, health food supermarket and the train or bus to NYC-direct train takes about 30 minutes. One hour south of our town are beautiful New Jersey beaches, one hour north of the house are the beautiful mountains of the Hudson and Catskills (camping, hikingk, lakes, Woodstock, arts and crafts towns). You can also take day trips to Philadelphia and overnights to Washington DC. It's a great location to enjoy city, suburb and country life.
