Notre maison

Located in a diverse, urban historic district - Rose Park, this 1913 California Bungalow is quite charming. The 1200 sq. feet home has three bedrooms (one used as an office) and one bathroom. Sleeping for 3-4 persons available: queen-sized bed in larger bedroom, single day bed with a trundle in smaller bedroom. It has a bright, modernized kitchen with adjacent laundry room with washer and dryer. The office provides computer/Internet access and a relaxing place for reading. The moderate California climate can be enjoyed in the large front and back yards that provide shady respite from the hustle and bustle of lively Southern California. And, it's just a 10 block stroll to the beach! While there are a few house plants and potted plants on the porch that need watering each week, a gardner comes each Thursday to mow the lawns. My cleaning lady also comes every other Thursday.

Long Beach is part of Greater Los Angeles, about 20 miles southwest of the city on the beautiful Pacific Ocean. More relaxed than LA, Long Beach still offers a lively downtown with a variety of activities for all ages, such as the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary, two art museums, a university, golf courses, shopping, and, of course, a "long" beach. For more information, please visit:

Rose Park, a designated historic district, offers friendly a neighborhood with a grocery store, family-operated eateries, coffee shops, and public transportation nearby. Although public transportation in Southern California pales in comparison to London, Long Beach does offer a great bus system, and the Blue Line light rail can be accessed in downtown Long Beach and runs directly to downtown Los Angeles.
