Our two-story home sits at the end of a cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood, welcoming you with its varnished garage doors and brick and stone facade. This 2008 square foot home contains three bedrooms (one used as an office with computer and wi-fi), 2&1/2 baths, hardwood entry, 3 car garage, kitchen, dining room, and a family room with gas fireplace. Vaulted ceilings, arches, and skylights warm the rooms. The large master bedroom has a sitting area, walk-in closet, and built-in shelves. The master bath has a jetted tub with tile surround, double vanity and separate shower. The house has air-conditioning. The rear of the home features two sets of sliding doors, a spacious deck off the first floor, across the length of the house and which opens to a large, fenced, private, landscaped yard.
We are a non-smoking, retired couple with flexible time. We'd love to exchange in the LA, St.Paul, and Chicago-Milwaukee areas where we have family, as well as other US cities. We're also open to short weekend or mid-week exchanges in our surrounding area. We would welcome exchanging in Canadian and European cities, and anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. We have a cat, who is friendly and loves attention from our visitors. She is a longhair cat, and spends time both indoors and out. Tom & Sue.
Olympia, Washington's capitol, situated on the southern end of Puget Sound, offering mountain and water views is a destination city in itself with a small town feel and big town offerings. Boasting of many bookstores and trendy restaurants, it has an abundance of art and entertainment choices with several live theaters, active nightlife, and almost weekly festivals. There are numerous walking and hiking trails, and fishing and boating for the outdoor enthusiast. We are 50 miles from Seattle and an easy drive to Portland, OR and the Oregon coast, Olympic National Park, Mt. Ranier, Mt. St. Helens, Victoria and Vancouver, Canada.
