It is a single story home that has 4 bedrooms (1 king, 3 twins and 1 queen bed), 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room, open kitchen, a wireless network and 2-car garage. The master bedroom has its own bathroom, walk-in closet, and doors that lead out to a covered back deck. Each of the other bedrooms have a single twin or queen in them. The living room has a wood burning stove, vaulted ceilings, doors that open to the deck, and great views of the Teton Mountain Range. The kitchen has new stainless steel refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Mountain views can be seen thoughout the home and on both the front porch and back deck. Double car garage is full of sporting equipment, fishing supplies and 5 bicyles. There is a community playground/park adjacent to our backyard. Our home is situated along the bike path that weaves through town and there is also free public bus system that can take you anywhere in the town of Jackson. En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We (David and Rhonda) have lived in Jackson, Wyoming for over 13 years. Both of us work for a non-profit environmental education organization called Teton Science Schools. David is the Director of Communication and Sales, while Rhonda is the Human Resource Supervisor. We have two boys, ages 10, 14 who are very involved with school activities, sports (soccer, baseball, tennis and skiing), exploring the outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing, boating and scouting) and have a love of travel and learning about new cultures. Our daughter is 19, attends the University of Wyoming, and loves to travel with the family. We have had three wonderful family home exchanges so far ... 3-weeks in Florence, Italy, 3-weeks in Saint Cezaire sur Siagne, France, and 2 weeks in London, England. We love to travel and are interested in a home exchange in Central or South America in 2013/14. Summer or a non-simultaneous exchange over Christmas would be preferred. If you are interested in a in Jackson, Wyoming home exchange, please contact us. Open to all offers.

Jackson is also surrounded by hiking, running and mountain biking trails thoughout surrounding National Forest. Check out more local activites at www.jacksonholechamber.com. This home provides not only a wonderful opportunity to explore Jackson, Wyoming, but also a truly unique chance to discover Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Both parks are world reknown for their splendid scenery, thermal features (geysers, hot pools, mudpots and steam vents) and an abundance of wildlife (bison, elk, moose, deer, pronghorn antelope, bears, wolves, coyotes, trumpeter swans and bald eagles). Grand Teton National Park is literally minutes away from our home, you could spend the whole day hiking in the Tetons, viewing wildlife or taking a boat ride across Jenny Lake. The fastest way to get to Yellowstone is to drive through Grand Teton and head up the south entrance of Yellowstone. Old Faithful is about a 2 1/2 hour drive in the summer, but you can visit Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Upper and Lower Falls and Yellowstone Lake all in one day.
