Our home is close to everything that Hawaii has to offer - beaches, mountains, golf courses, shopping, you name it! Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. We have great views of the ocean, wood floors and a comfortable mixture of modern furniture and antiques. A large deck provides a perfect place for entertaining or BBQS. Our home has three bedrooms/two bath. One bedroom has a full size bed and a full size loft bed. Another bedroom with a queen size bed and the master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. Our neighborhood also has a recreation center which you would have access to. It has an adult pool, a kiddie pool, a playground, several large grass areas, free parking, hot and cold showers, bathrooms, a complete kitchen, entertaining room, and a ping pong table. We have a cleaning lady and yard service that can be made available during your stay.

My husband and I are in our 40s. He is in commercial real estate and I am a stay at home mother. I do occasional freelance work in Public Relations/Media Relations/and general communication. I used to work in the news business and I was also a teacher. We have two children. Our daughter is 9 and we have a 2 1/2 year old boy. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and most water activities. We enjoy travelling when able to get away. We are native to the islands and can give you lots of tips on where to go, where to eat, etc. We have had two successful home exchanges and hope to do more. We are very clean and will take good care of your home.
We are located on the island of Oahu in an area called Waialae Nui (located just above Waialae Golf Course and Country Club, where the Sony Open is played). We are on a hill with great ocean views, access to a rec center with a playground and heated swimming pool and separate kiddie pool. We are 5 minutes from Kahala Mall which has food, clothing, drug stores, and restaurants. Waikiki is 8 to 10 minutes away and the famous North Shore with the big waves in the winter time is about 40 minutes away. Downtown Honolulu is about 15 minutes away. We are also members of the Outrigger Canoe Club located just 8 minutes from our home on the beach at Waikiki. It is a great place for beach activities, volleyball, dining, working out, and having fun. If you are interested, we could arrange a guest membership which you would pay for on your own (via credit card) as you need.
