Notre maison

Swap our Hilton Head Island Villa for a weekend getaway near disney or ski slopes. Beautifully decorated, new furniture with miles of bike paths. Access to Harbour Town and the Westin resort (across the street). Ground floor with remote key access, park outside front door, our island is sunny and warm with 253 restaurants. Walk on the beach across the street and unwind as the sun sets over the water. Our villa has 3 balconies with rocking chairs for you to sit and relax. There are golf courses all over the island and we are located in Port Royal. Golf is abundant as so is the shopping. Hilton Head Island has a population of only 26,700 and has over 2.5 million visitors annually. Hurricane season is June thru November with the highest probability starting in mid August and ending late September. We enjoy 200 sunny days a year with April the sunniest month. This is when we have the annual Heritage Verizon Golf Tournament! Don't forget the kids we have numberous miniature golf courses which can accommodate physically handicapped and strollers. There is a water slide park on the island. What to pack is dont forget your bathing suit. Our temp rarely drops below freezing. In the summer it can reach as high as 100.Be sure to pack your sun block. Hilton Head is very informal. At the nicest restaurant you may see a ball gaown and a polo golf shirt. Shorts and shirts and flip flops are the usual attire in summer. If you plan to walk on the beach bring a windbreaker or sweatshir

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are Steve and Kristie. Steve is a PE and Health teacher. He also coaches football and baseball. I am an ICU nurse at the only hospital on the island. We are the smallest hospital in the United States to have an open heart surgery unit. So if you get sick, don't worry we have the best physicans and nurses available. We are ranked 5 stars and you get a newspaper and linen napkin with your breakfeast! We have two boys Sky and Kyle. There are 4 and 11. They enjoy swimming, surfing, biking, skiing and boating. We like to get away to the mountains of North Carolina or visit Disney or Steves mom in West Palm Beach. We live a few minutes away from the villa and will even take you on our boat to circle the island! We look forward to swapping with you!

The neighborhood is surrounded by the beach on one side and the golf course on the other. There are many palm trees and alligators to view. We enjoy a semi tropical climate and the temperature today January 6th is 78 degrees! Our average temp is 71 degrees which makes it the perfect location for year round enjoyment. There are five beach accesses and the Coastal Discovery Museum, Self Family Arts Center, Shelter Cove and Palmetto Dunes. Don't forget the Sea Pines Forest Preserveor the Harbour Town Lighthouse. There is even a Gullah n Geechie Mahn Tours and the Swamp Cat ferry will take you to the fantastic Dafuskie Island. It is accessible only by boat and is across Calibogue Sound. There are golf courses, condos, and gated residential communities, but the charm lies in the sparsely inhabited areas. Much like before the bridge, the roads are unpaved and motor vehicles are rare. Travel is by foot or golf cart. We are also near the famous Palmetto Bluff and only 1 1/2 hour away form the Ford Plantation in Savannah Georgia. It was recently made famous by the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. There are two huge Tanger outlets only 15 minute drive. The island is full of egrets on its many lagoons and marshes and beautiful blue heron birds. Alligators can grow to 12 feet in length and see turtles sunning themselves on the banks. Take a boat ride on one of the many tours and see dolpins come within petting distance of your boat.
