Notre maison

Our home is clean and is well decorated and furnished to a good standard throughout. With a nice sized lounge which is cosy and comfortable. We offer 3 bedrooms, 2 including the master being upstairs along with a toilet and shower room and one downstairs along with the lounge, kitchen, toilet/bathroom and study. We have a 9ft X 9ft conservatory leading out to a small back garden with a stream at the end. The house has central heating throughout and a gas fire in the lounge. We have lived in this home for 20 years and know all our lovely neighbours.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Hello my name is Nick and my wife is Sharon, we are in our mid forties and have been married for 26 years. We have 2 sons Richard (26) and David (16). I am a self-employed builder and Sharon is a Manager with Marks & Spencer. We have not done a home exchange before but think it would be a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see ours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the UK. We are both non smokers and would look after and respect your home as we do ours.

Our home is set in a quite village called Fairlight with just one local post office and farm shop, but only a five minute drive to the nearest supermarket.
It is ideally situated in the heart of 1066 country where you can walk to the lovely Firehills with their views over the English Channel and just 10 minutes drive from Hastings town centre and 15 minutes from the historic towns of Rye and Battle.

Ashford is only 40 minutes drive away, where you can catch the Eurostar train through the tunnel to France. You can be in Paris in less than 3 hours. London is 70 miles away but it’s better to catch the train than drive because of the parking. It is only an hour and half by train from Hastings to Trafalgar Square in the centre of London. Trains run until the early hours of the morning so going to a West End Show or dinner is not a problem.
