Notre maison

We live in an attached townhouse in a historic community. It is small, but cozy and comfortable. We are surrounded by protected woodlands on three sides, so despite the urban setting, we regularily see all kinds of birds and animals and can take long walks in the woods. One of the bedrooms is a baby room with a crib, but there is a sofa bed in the living room (in addition to the master br with double bed). The house has beautiful views of trees from all windows and we have a large fenced yard with an outdoor fireplace.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are an international couple (Spain/US)with a 10 month old baby. We love to travel and experience new people, culture, and cuisine. Shayna is an artist and is interested in art and architecture. Ramon is a computer guy (IT manager) and loves all things "tech." In addition to travel, we like to go out to movies, concerts, etc, be outdoors (parks, mountains, woods), and eat different ethnic foods. Our daughter has gone overseas several times and is already a very good traveler.

Greenbelt was built in the late '30s and is the first planned community in the US. It was planned so that residents are able to walk everywhere-- you can walk to the small town center (with classic deco architecture) where there is a full grocery store, bank, movie theater, public gym and swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) and several restaurants. There is also a large lake park, library, and many playgrounds.
Greenbelt is on the Green line of the DC metro and there are several metrobuses that stop in front of our house, so you do not need a car to see DC. We are half an hour by car to Annapolis, Maryland's colonial state capitol, and the city of Baltimore. Washington DC, being the capitol city, is a beautiful and interesting city, many of the museums and galleries are free and there are a multitude of restaurants and events showcasing our country's multiculturalism.
