The third bedroom is set up as a study, but two cot type beds can be put in this room to accomodate children. Both of the other rooms have queen size Tempurpedic beds. One bathroom has a shower and the other has a tub/shower. The farm house dining table can seat twelve. Comfy sofa and leather chairs in the living room with a 37" LCD TV, cable and DVR. The deck off of the living room has a beautiful view over our twenty acre farm. We have bicycles, golf clubs tennis rackets and an assortment of other toys.
The car is a 2007 Acura RDX, 5 seatrs, good cargo space, GPS and gets apprx 22 mile per gallon.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We have taken early retirement as marketing professionals for the Semiconductor industry. My three children are grown and live locally. I also have a web based business that allows me to work where ever I have access to the internet.
We have traveled extensively through out the world while working, and now would like to see the parts of the world that don't have a lot of Semiconductor business. Long bike rides, good food and wine, swimming, skiing, tennis, museums. You name it. We prefer villages over cities, but access to the cities is great. Our lifestyle is casual. We have a great circle of friends that are always ready to open their arms to more! I would like to communicate with the exchange family in advance so I can help to make sure your trip is wonderful. I have never done a home exchange before, but I anticipate great adventure! We are flexbile about dates and places, so please don't hestitate to make a suggestion.

We live in the country on a working farm. We raise Alpacas and Maitake (Hen of the Woods Mushrooms) The working farm is across the road from the house. There is a nice size pond for swimming, or a little fishing for children. It is fed by a year round stream that runs along side the house. Giant cedars and Fir trees grow on the hill side. We have a 106 year old, three story dairy barn, and 50 Alpacas grazing in the fields. The mushrooms grow in barns year round and are maintained by a work crew. It is quiet and peaceful. We are seven miles to Estacada, thirty minutes to downtown Portland, Forty five minutes to the slopes on Mt hood, and the same to the Columbia Gorge, and Hood River a great wind sailing area. Day trips to the Oregon Coast are a breeze. We have many local golf courses. We also have a 32 foot recreational vehicle that can be made available as part of the deal to take longer trips around the West. The Pacific Northwest is the most beautiful country side. Green and lush, with lots of water actiivty, great restaurants, hiking, biking etc...A
