Notre maison

We live in a very large clean and spacious Victorian style home that was built in the late 1800's. We have a large kitchen, with a downstairs bedroom that has an adjoining living room to the bedroom, plus a sitting room off the kitchen and a TV room. There is a bathroom with a shower downstairs. Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms with a large, tub only and the bathroom is off the master bedroom. We have 2 large porches that you can sit and watch the horse and buggys pass by. We have central heat and window units for air conditioning in the master bedroom only upstairs and in a window unit in the kitchen. In the summer we have flower beds and a large garden. We also have a fire ring in the yard to roast hot dogs. We have large shade tree and tire swing and jungle gym for children. We have 2 car garage and barn away from the house. We have bicycles that can be used on our great biking roads. We have cable TV in our TV room only.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. My husband and I have been married for 32 years and lived in our present home for the past 28 years. We have 3 grown children, 2 daughters that are married and live nearby and a single son who lives in Brooklyn NY in Greenpoint. We love to hike, ride bike both with motors and without, play cards and other games and have picnic and parties at our home.My husband drives truck locally and I am the manager of Homeless and Rental Counseling Programs at Tabor Community Services. Check it out at We do like to travel and especially like to visit NYC to visit our son for short weekends and enjoy all the city has to offer. We are open to any offer but we are especially interested in short weekend visits to NYC.

We live in a very small quiet town. Many of our neighbors are Amish or Mennonite and do not have cars, TV etc. They drive horse and buggy for transportation. The town we live in was made famous because of Floyd Landis 2006 Tour De France winner. His family are very close friends of ours. It was at our house that his family watched Floyd win the tour and where the media descended upon after that win. You can visit for more info on him. We have a small county store, a furniture shop in the town.
However, within 10 -15 miles you can see all the Amish county tourist attractions, take advantage of the great outlet shopping, and visit art galleries and museums in Lancaster City. Check to find out more about Lancaster City.
