Beautiful Log Home with Fabulous views of the Grand Tetons

My husband and I retired in 1999 and moved from Southern California to Driggs, Idaho where we built our hand-crafted log home. It is nestled in the world-famous Rocky Mountains of the American West, conveniently close to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and less than 19 miles from one of America's finest deep powder ski resorts. Targhee averages over 500 inches of snow per season. We are both ski instructors at Grand Targhee in the winter and Tom is also a writer. Tom recently published his first book, Damnyankee, a compelling true story of a World War II U.S. Navy submarine patrol bomber which ditched off the west coast of Ireland in 1944 in a seething North Atlantic storm. It can be purchased on Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble.com. We had our home built to our specifications nine years ago, and it is 2,600 sq. ft., with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The kitchen is an epicurean delight and the living area has hickory floors, a wood burning stove in the living room, as well as forced air heat. Our hot tub faces the Grand Tetons, and we also have a sauna and full washer, dryer, and soft water. Our home is a non-smoking home. We would not have to do a simultaneous exchange, as we have access to other lodging for ourselves. There are two mountain bikes available, and we would be amenable to a mutual automobile exchange.
