Notre maison

Our home is located just outside the city limits of St. Louis and about a mile from prestigious Washington University (www.wustl.edu). We live in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with tree-lined streets. Our Tudor Revival brick home was built in 1934 with original exposed wood and wrought iron details. It is a comfortable home and conveniently located... in April the weather is nice enough to have all your meals on the back screened in porch. We have perennial gardens that will be in bloom at this time of year. We are located one mile from Forest Park (www.forestparkforever.org) which was created for the 1904 Worlds Fair and is larger than Central Park in New York. The Art Museum, History Museum and Zoo are loccated in Forest Park along with beautiful bike and walking trails.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I am Associate Director of Development at Washington University, and work for the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts -- which is the Art and Architecture Schools. My husband is a scientist. Our daughter is a junior in college and is spending this semester at the U. of Utecht, and we want to visit her! The best time for us is around April 19 -- May 3 although we could possibly go later in May as well. We look forward to an exchange with the right family and promise to respect your home as if it were our own.

St. Louis is a mid-western city filled with culture, museums and great architecture. We are the home of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, The Arch designed by Eero Saarinen in 1966, and about two hours from Hannibal -- the home of Mark Twain. Our city is filled with wonderful architectural gems, the world-famous Missouri Botanical Gardens (www.mobot.org), and the unique and amazing City Museum (www.citymuseum.org). If you were to come here we could direct you to many museums, activities, shopping and great restaurants. The weather in April is lovely, with spring flowers and trees blooming everywhere.
