Notre maison

Cottage 1144, Summer Wind Lane is completely canopied by Live Oak Trees draped in Spanish moss. The Cottage is elevated 12 feet to allow parking under it which allows an unspoiled, elevated, fully shaded view from the 34 foot screened porch overlooking the 2nd fairway of the Crocked Oakes Golf Course. Relax with the overhead fans moving the air just enough to cool things down after returning from the pool, beach or sightseeing in Charleston. While having your evening “Southern Sweet Tea” or your morning coffee, be sure to keep a lookout for deer crossing the golf course, as seen in one of my photos. One week may not be enough to see all the Low Country has to offer but it will create a desire to return to the old south again and again as we do. We live in Atlanta, GA and this is our second home on Seabrook Island, a place we love returning to. We offer TWO GEM Electric cars for use around the island, 2 & 4 seaters, see the 4 seater in one of the photos. You would need a car for sightseeing off the island and in Historic Charleston, SC.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. A very early retirement has allowed Ann and me to have many second homes in the past 22 years. Our purchase of Cottage 1144 on Seabrook Island in 2003 will most likely be our final as we found heaven on earth. Seabrook Island is without a doubt the most wonderful and unspoiled place we have ever seen. It is like no other place that we know of, and that makes it difficult to explain just what it is like.
Visit my website to really learn all you can about this Island, it is filled with photos and information on the area. Enjoy looking at the photos and reading about the most special place in the South.
This is my commerical website and not the Seabrook Island Cottage in "HomeForExchange" It is about the Island.

I have a need to visit China in August thur October 2006 for 1 to 2 weeks, but anyplace at anytime. On some exchanges we might have our two maried adult girls and husbands, so it could be 2, 4 or 6 well traveled people.

    Thank You, Al Beever.

Localisation

Quartier

A mere 30 minutes south of historic Charleston, SC, Seabrook Island offers an uncrowded and serene escape. A 2,200-acre, private, gated, beachfront community, Seabrook Island features a fine collection of luxurious private homes, villas and cottages with sweeping views of the ocean. With two premier golf courses, a top-rated racquet club and the area's only full-service equestrian center, upscale amenities and easy access to area activities, shopping and dining. Seabrook Island is a dream place if you're ready to live a full, active life, or just let time pass uninterrupted.
Seabrook has long been acknowledged as one of South Carolina’s greatest barrier islands. Every home, nestled among the ancient oaks of this peaceful coastal setting, is as unique as the natural beauty that surrounds it.
• Golf
What makes Seabrook golf unique is its uncrowded playing conditions. Unlike all other Charleston area resorts, Seabrook's two courses are not open to the public. Robert Trent Jones described his design, Crooked Oaks, as a "hard par, easy bogey", and "one of my best". Ocean Winds, designed by William Byrd, winds along 6,805 yards. The course leads through forests of live oaks and loblolly pines, past sea marsh and tidal creeks to the Atlantic Ocean, whose swirling breezes provide an ever-changing test of golf. Ocean Winds and Crooked Oaks have been chosen as two of the top 30 golf courses in South Carolina. Both courses will exceed your expectations.
