Notre maison

We have a lovely townhouse situated close to major highways. We have 3 bedrooms. One with a king size bed, own bathroom with separate shower, sitting room with high speed computer link, HDTV television with DVR and free movies OnDemand. Second bedroom with basic cable tv that sleeps 2. Third room has a queen size sleeper sofa, basic cable tv, and computer with high speed link. Second and Third bedrooms overlook a beautiful wooded field. We have a large deck where you can have a barbecue and sit on a patio set. Downstairs we have a oversized chair that also pulls out for a sleeper for one. There is also a large screen tv with full cable, but no DVR. There is a DVD player downstairs and one in the master bedroom. We have all the modern conveniences in the kitchen. Washer/Dryer in laundry room. Upstairs off hallway there is a full bathroom and downstairs there is a 1/2 bathroom. Down in the basement we have a jacuzzi that holds up to 5 and a pool table. There is also a futon in the basement. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and will be finished soon. We do have two Maine Coon cats that we would love to have someone care for while we are away, but we could have a neighbor stop in and tend to them if needed.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Husband Ken is 46 years old and is a CNC Programmer. I am also 46 and am disable due to fibromyalgia and arthritis, but I try to keep active. We have no children, just cats. We love to go to museums, restaurants and the theater. We are new to exchanging homes, but excited to try something different. We would consider also the end of April of 2008 also. But we are open to other areas & could work something out. We have always been intrigued with Great Britain (ancestry)and we have to admit that we are fans of British television. In fact it was due to a British show that brought my husband and I together. I was from Minnesota and he is from New Jersey. Happened to be chatting on a forum and mentioned the show Doctor Who. We are both fans (even at our age-yeah we still like to think we are young :o) )as well as some others and we all started to chat. I ended up marrying him (obviously) and we will be married ten happy years in 2008. We are diverse in our interests, anywhere from art of all areas, science, fibromyalgia, global warming and the enviroment, gambling, sightseeing, restaurants, history, reading, music, computers, friends and family, etc. We love to laugh. Hoping to expand our horizons by visiting new countries.

We live in a suburban area off of 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. It is a quiet area with shopping and a movie complex less than a mile away. We have amazing neighbors that I know would help you if needed. We are a 1/2 hour drive into Philadelphia, little over an hour 1/2 drive into New York City and an hour and a 1/2 to Atlantic City if you want the nightlife. Nothing beats the Jersey Shore. There is beautiful Cape May where you can take whale watching excursions or you can take a trip up into New York or on the New Jersey side and take a tour on the Circle Line around Manhattan by water and see the city, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty and more. Philadelphia also has amazing museums (including Museum of Anthropology and Archaelogy and the Barnes Museum as well as all the local history of colonial times)and if you like to see ecletic mix of lifestyles and art, check out New Hope, PA. The area is loaded with with history. Much to do. We would be more than happy to download maps to local areas of interest and assist in any other way we can to make your stay pleasant. Check out this site for the Barnes Foundation which has amazing collection of art in Pennsylvania, including 181 Renoir's, 69 Cezanne's, 59 Matisse's, and the list goes on and on.
There is the James Michener Museum in Doylestown, Pa that features local Bucks County, PA artists who are world known.
And of course the amazing museums and other sites in New York City.
