Notre maison

Our home is a newly-built traditional Cape Cod house with 2 floors and a painter's studio above the double garage. The studio is large enough to accomodate a paint easel plus large sofa and easy chair for viewing (Satellite) TV/DVD. The internet access is also hooked up here. Above the main floor of the house are located the 2 guest bedrooms, the guest bathroom and Susan's study. Downstairs, next to the master bedroom suite is the Laundry room and seperate guest toilet. The Sunny dining room with fireplace is directly off the fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are large and sunny. The dining room opens to a screened summer porch and a sundeck with a gas BBQ grille. Attached to the house is a wonderful outdoor shower for beach cleanup ... a CC tradition. The house is located on a private 1.3 acre woodland with gardens nearer the house.

Jerry, 67 is a retired Manufacturing executive. Susan, 62 is an antiques collector and former dealer and appraiser. We have five grown children and 9 grand children. We lived in Brazil and Italy for 4.5 years before retiring 6 years ago. Our nearest grandchildren are 7 hours away but visit us as often as possible - see photo "Teatime on the Deck".
We are experienced exchangers and love to travel.
Jerry paints in watercolors and oils. Susan is a docent at a local Colonial museum. We both enjoy studying la lingua italiano.

Brewster, Massachusetts is located in the "elbow" of Cape Cod peninsula along 560 miles of unspoiled sandy Atlantic coastline, 1.5-2.0 hrs to Boston, 4-5 km to the ocean in 3 directions.
Daily ferries run to Nantucket and Martha's
Vineyard. The ferry to Boston is one hour's drive. See capecodchamber.org for video of CC.
It is peaceful and quiet and the autumn colors are wonderful. Seafood, antiques, walking trails, whale watching, kyaking, deep sea fishing, live theater, golfing, biking are available. We are 1 hour from historic Plymouth Plantation and a replica of the Mayflower. The car beach sticker grants access to 10 Cape Cod bay beaches. Clams and lobsters everywhere!
