En savoir plus sur nous

  1. My husband, an attorney and I enjoy this home on weekends and some extended stays. We travel when his work schedule allows. I am retired and pursue many activities: volunteering, reading, writing, walking, grandchildren! His passion is snow skiing and Carolina basketball (since he is a former player). We both also love the beach and our dogs Katie, a Westie, and Daisy, a yellow lab.

Mountain cabin and log home area, where hiking paths abound outside your door! Golf 10 minutes away and many activities in a 30 mile radius, i.e., antiquing/shopping and a wonderful farmer's mkt. Extensive hiking along the famous Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trail, along with tubing, canoeing, and fishing in the Watauga and New Rivers. Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, and ASU University. Cultural opportunities include outdoor dramas, university plays, historic professional theater, and varied and continuous music from bluegrass to classical. Ski slopes nearby. Loads of great restaurants.
Six hours from coastal beaches, Washington DC, and Atlanta, Ga.
