Notre maison

Our home is warm and inviting, full of light and charm in a very nice neighborhood close to excellent public transportation and San Francisco. The house has a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room, with private garden in back. The two full bathrooms have tub with shower. A two story, Tudor house, with 2 bedrooms upstairs with full and queen sized beds, and a queen sized sleeper sofa in the study on main floor. Small upstairs study could sleep 1. School playground nearby. Saluti dalla California!

Luciano and Jan work at the University of California, and are looking forward to spending more time in Luciano's native country of Italy and in Spain. We might be travelling with a couple of friends. We enjoy this area, and think you would, too.

Our neighborhood is one of Berkeley's most charming, with gourmet dining, numerous cafes and interesting shops nearby. Walking distance from supermarkets and the UC Berkeley campus, it is also very well served by public transportion, including bus and BART (metro), with direct access to San Francisco and the airport. It is an easy drive to visit the Golden Gate, the redwoods, Yosemite mountains, the ocean, and the famous Napa valley. The weather in May-June is quite pleasant in this area with plenty of sunshine (no need for air conditioning).
