Notre maison

Our home is a big, open, 70's style rambler set in 1.3 acres close in to downtown Bellingham. This is a comfortable family home full of musical instruments. The back yard has a beautiful waterfall, a tree house, a garden, a gazebo, and plenty of places for kids to run and play. Ours spend hours riding bikes, scooters, and skateboards on the driveway that runs up through the property. It's a great place to relax with a family.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Our family--Tom, Julia, and four kids--love to meet people and to travel. Tom is an attorney and Julia is a piano teacher. We have never tried home exchange before, but we think it would be a great way not only to see another part of the country, but to share Bellingham--an incredibly beautiful place--with someone else. We have previously lived in China, Japan, Taiwan, England, Costa Rica, and Colombia, among other places, and miss the way you really get to know a place when you live there. We're hoping residential exchange will offer a deeper view of a place we can only visit briefly.

Localisation

Quartier

Bellingham is a beautiful coastal city about two hours' drive (or train ride) away from both Seattle and Vancouver BC. Our house is close to city beaches, parks, mountain biking trails, terrific skiing, hiking, climbing, kayaking, crabbing, clamming, fishing, whale watching, and boating. Our favorite summer evening fun is to bike to the beach, toss in the crab pots, take a ride along Puget Sound, and return in time to pull up dinner and eat it on the beach.
