Notre maison

Family cabin built by father in 1961 and used by next two generations as vacation destination and now primary residence. Private, beautiful lake site with great swimming, fishing and boating beach. Nearby small town provides conveniences but wooded surroundings give tranquility and quiet. Recently completed lower level gives "almost" separate apartment.

Our house is located in the village of Balsam Lake down a wooded, private road that follows the lakeshore. Balsam Lake is a small town (pop. 1000) 75 miles from big cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota which offer unlimited and desirable shopping and culture. Balsam Lake is located in the midst of several small towns in a farm/lake area often visited by tourists for water sports, biking, hiking etc. There is an active art and theatre culture in the area which was originally settled by primarily loggers.
