Notre maison

The home is one block from the bluff's edge in a section of Aptos (in Santa Cruz County) called Rio Del Mar, a bluff overlooking the ocean, chiseled on one side by Aptos Creek leaving the redwood forest and pouring into the sea. A 5- minute walk by path takes you to a long stretch of beach below. Our single family home is 1350 sq. ft., built in 1964, single level, and has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, an electric kitchen with a dishwasher, dining area, and living room. Our garden is private and fenced with a stone patio and a 4-person Jacuzzi. At the back of the house two sets of French doors open onto a private garden and Jacuzzi /hot-tub. The bathrooms and kitchen were renovated within the last five years. Floors are hardwood. We don't smoke. The house has wireless DSL internet access.

This is a residential community. The neighbors are kind and friendly. There are children on our street and adults from 30-somethings to 60-somethings. The neighborhood is quiet and green, for many trees, shrubs and flowers abound. If you like to walk, you can walk via quiet neighborhood streets and via the beach to cafes, coffee-houses, restaurants, and video store.

San Jose International Airport is 45 minutes away and San Francisco International Airport is 70 minutes away. To the south on Hwy 1 are Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur, all of which are easy day trips. San Francisco and Berkeley are 1.5 hours away, easy day trips to the north.
