En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We will be retiring in the Spring of 2012 and looking for adventure travel. Wayne's career has been in business brokerage and Maggie's in real estate sales. We would like to exchange our home for similar homes in most countries. We would especially like to exchange for warmer climes during the winter, although Albuquerque's temps seldom drop very far below freezing. We have a tabby that spends its days outdoors, so we would welcome an exchanger who wouldn't mind tending to his few needs. However, this is not a deal breaker...and may even be worth a few bottles of wine.

Our home is located in Albuquerque's North Valley, the original area settled by the Spanish Conquistadores. We are only 1.5 miles from historic Old Town with is period shops, cafes and 307-year-old church.

Albuquerque is only a 50-minute drive from Santa Fe, Conde Nast's #2 US tourist destination and world-re known art center. The adjacent Sandia Mountain wilderness area offers skiing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and rock climbing. The Sandia Mountain Tramway has the longest clear span in the world and a 10,000 square mile mountaintop view. White Sands national monument, historic Taos (home to Kit Carson and world-class skiing)and seven Indian pueblos are easy day trips. Excellent trout fishing and elk hunting are available in the mountains. Albuquerque's International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, held on the first two weekends in October, draws more than 550 balloons and 1,000,000 spectators. Several world-class golf courses, including Paako Ridge (one of Golf Digest's top10 public courses) are accessible to the public.
