Notre maison

Family and friends love our house as much as we do and we hope you will too. It is small but warm and cozy in the winter and cool in the summer (thanks to solid brick and stone exterior walls).
The fireplace, traditional interior colors and warm woodwork make it picture perfect in the winter and the backyard is a great garden spot in the summer; flowers all around. We take great pride in the cleanliness and effeciency of our little bungalow and would treat your home with the same loving care.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a family of four; Jake 8, Maeven(daughter)13, Machelle 37, and Steve 38. Steve and I have been married for 17 years and were highschool sweethearts. Twenty-two years of total togetherness! I am an Interior Designer and Illustrator and Steve is a Superintendent with an electric company here in St. Louis.
We have found staying in a private home to be more comfortable than a hotel and we look forward to our first house swap. We rent homes or stay in Bed & Breakfasts for vacation and we enjoy those options and now this seems like the next step for us.
Last year we vacationed in Florida, North Carolina and Mexico. This year? We would like a short stay in Chicago during the summer and hope to vacation somewhere else that is completely new to us. Somewhere out West would be great. We are thinking about BIG trees, open spaces and a complete change of scenery.

Our home is in an older neighborhood which is very quiet and pleasant. We have been here for over ten years and know our neighbors very well. We have a golf driving range, batting cage, and golf/mini golf just walking distance from our home; great for the whole family.
The bikes and a BBQ pit are ready to go. There are many games for the kids and family time. We are only five minutes from Grants Farm (meet the world famous Clydsdales face-to-face, very cool)and Grants Trail (good for walking, blading, and biking).
Our location is ideal for seeing St. Louis. We are within 15 minutes from the #1, world famous St. Louis Zoo, The Arch & mighty Mississippi, Casinos, The Magic House, The City Museum (must see for kids of all ages), Botanical Gardens, Six Flags and much more. This really is a great town!
