Notre maison

We own a late Victorian (1900) property, with 4/5 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, kitchen and 2 bathrooms set over 3 floors. All the rooms are large with high ceilings. The garden is of a good size and very pleasant in summer. There is about 2000 sq. ft of living space. The inside is well decorated and cared for.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. As a family we are Brett (self employed businessman) Faye (been looking after kids) and Nina (9), Roxy (7) and Suki (4). We are a happy family and the kids are really well behaved and considerate, although obviously lively! We haven’t been on a home exchange before but we are reliable in terms of our word and have great respect and care for other people’s homes and property, leaving them tidy and cared for.

We are already booked to come to Greensboro, North Carolina, USA from 22Aug - 7 Sep 2006 and we are looknig for anyone wishing to exchange at that time who comes from that area. But in other school holidays we are also loooking anywhere warm, such as during Christmas 2006.

Localisation

Quartier

We live in a market town called Attleborough in Norfolk, England. We live on Station Road, so are only two minutes walk from the town’s small station, offering an under 2 hour train ride to central London (www.londontown.com). 30 minutes NE we have the Cathedral city of Norwich (www.visitnorwich.co.uk), and 1 hour SW the historic University town of Cambridge (www.visitcambridge.org). Countrysidewise we have Thetford forest 20 minutes away SW (http://www.edp24.co.uk/Content/Postcard_From/Thetford.asp), and about 45 minutes NE away are the Norfolk broads (http://www.visitnorwich.co.uk/the_broads.html). About an hour to the NW is Sandringham Estate, country residence of the Queen.

We have a good range of local restaurants and places to eat. There are some lovely country pubs with great cuisine. There is a small gym within walking distance.
