Notre maison

The farmhouse is situated in a rural area close to the cornish cliffs. The view is across a valley designated as being of outstanding natural beauty with view out to the Atlantic and Wolf Rock lighthouse ..The cliff nearby is owned by the National Trust and is crossed by the South West cliff path which runs around the UK coastline .

The garden has several slate terraces for al fresco dining, a pizza oven, a meadow and wildlife pond. You can cook in the oven and keep warm by the firebowl and watch the amazing night sky which has little light polution .There is a herb and vegetable garden to add to your table .
On some evenings you can watch barn owls hunting across the valley and in the summer months the swallows swoop dipping their wings as they drink from the pond. There is a summer house should you want to sleep sheltered from the dew but in the open air .
The nearest airports are Newquay ,Exeter and Bristol and one way which has worked for other visitors might be via Dublin if coming across the Atlantic .

The house is close to the coastal path and a number of sandy beaches with spectacular cliffs where you can swim or surf. The situation is secluded within a group of properties including a working farm but is quiet. The weather is Atlantic and coastal and can range from scorching hot [by British standards] to wild with violent breaking waves and stormy seas. Nearby there is the Minack Theatre which is in a spectacular location on the cliff and is well worth a visit local web site www.landsendweather. and shows lifeboat "shouts ",webcams and some more professional photos of the surrounding beaches .

We can direct you to secret places on the coast .

There are several golf courses in spectacular locations overlooking the cliffs and bays in the and and St Ives golf club
