Notre maison

Plash Mill Cottage is a renovated 17th century stone house situated in a tranquil, wooded parkland area only a 15 minute walk away from the historic, medieval town centre of St Andrews. The house is built on two floors – the ground floor has an entrance hall, living/dining-room, kitchen, utility room, TV room, master bedroom, bathroom with WC and a spacious study with a wood-burning stove. On the first floor there are two further double bedrooms and a shower room with WC. The house is comfortably furnished and equipped with all modern appliances and services, including WiFi broadband connection. It stands in a large garden with lawns, shrubs and mature trees and is bounded on one side by the Kinnessburn, a small river flowing into the sea at the harbour a mile away.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Barbara and Chris Beedham are an academic couple in their 50s and are both linguists, speaking English, German, Polish, French and (some) Russian between them. Barbara has booked onto a course in Athens this summer so would be delighted if a house swap with Athens could be arranged. They are keen travellers and have undertaken a very successful house swap with a family in France in the recent past as well as regularly renting to a group of Canadian golfers when the Open is in St Andrews. They would look after any house that they swapped with like their own.

St Andrews is an ancient university town situated in a wild and beautiful landscape setting overlooking the North Sea. It is famous for its 600 year old university – the third oldest university in the English –speaking world, its mile-long sandy beaches and as the home of golf. It is about an hour away by car or train from Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, and about 1.5 hours away from Pitlochry. The gateway to the Highlands.
