Notre maison

A family home for 35 years, with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, toilet, out house (with washing machine, freezer, dryer), central heating, alarm system, 3 gardens in a cul-de-sac with friendly neighbours. Car as shown available in swop. We have previously swapped with seven Brisbane based home owners and some of our house swap time is usually spent visiting them as we've become good friends. If possible we are looking for a swap as close to Brisbane bayside - to be near our son Sean in Wynnum West but are flexible and open to suggestions. If you email or call the contact details you will be in touch with Sean in Australia - Sean will then pass on our details if you'd like to chat to us.

  1. We are Martin and Carol and we're in our 60s and will be flying to Brisbane, Australia to see our son Sean and his young family. Sean moved to Australia in 2005 to be with Holly (100% Aussie from Brisbane) and we want to make the most of our trip. My son lives in Wynnum West so somewhere near here to stay would be ideal but we are flexible. We are flexible with dates and we expect to visit sometime in 2012 - probably April/May onwards. We visited Australia in 2000, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011 and we are looking for a nice break in your great land. If you are looking for a break in a small village with friendly neighbourswe might be the house and couple you are looking for! We have completed seven successful house swaps in the Brisbane area so far.

We live in Saughall a village 6kms from the city of Chester. Chester is a vibrant modern city and combined with its history makes it one of Britain’s leading tourist centres, welcoming 6 MILLION visitors each year. Popular attractions include: The City Walls, city gates and the Cross (where four Roman streets converge and the Town Crier delivers public proclamations) the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain Roman Gardens the magnificent Cathedral the unique world famous ‘Tudor Rows’ (covered galleries of shops) the Eastgate Clock (the most photographed timepiece in the world, after Big Ben) the River Dee with pleasure cruises and boats Chester Races, Chester Zoo, canal-barge cruises. You'll find plenty to do in Chester. Chester has a host of pubs, clubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, and some of the best shops outside London (2.5 hours by train). There are plenty of arts and cultural activities too, and an all-year-round street cabaret to entertain passers-by. In England's North West 1 hour from Liverpool, 1 hour from Manchester and 2 hours to the Lake District or Snowdonia and 2 hours to Holyhead (ferry to Ireland) you are in a great position to see some of the UK and Ireland's treasures. Why stay near London when the North has so much to offer! Close to Manchester Airport (40 mins) and Liverpool Airport (30 mins) for flights to Europe too - this is a great base to live and experience what the Poms have to offer
