Notre maison

Our home is a 3 storey modernised Edwardian terrace (built in 1900) retaining some lovely period features. It has a large open plan kitchen and dining room with glass doors leading to our south facing garden (30ft x 20). A seperate living room with TV, computer and piano. It has a master bedroom (ensuite bathroom) and 2 further double bedrooms. Our house is geared up for a young family.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a family of 4. Jonnie is a film editor, Karen is an ex fire fighter now a full time mum. Our two kids are Matilda (7) and Stanley (5) and our house is obviously well suited to another young family. We have not done a house swap before but are very keen to give it a go and think we have a lovely home to swap with in a great location.

Localisation

Quartier

We live on a very quiet tree lined street in Herne Hill, south east london. There is lots to do locally as well as the obvious attractions central London has to offer. There is a great local park 2 minutes away, perfect for kids. It is a very diverse neighbourhood - within a 1 mile radius there is the hustle and bustle of Brixton with fabulous cinema, bars and markets and underground station (zone 2); family orientated east dulwich with shops, bars, cafes and restaurants; the peacefulness of Dulwich Village with the oldest public art gallery in Britain. We are a 10 minute walk to two train stations Herne Hill and North Dulwich (both zone 2) with regular trains to central london taking 10 minutes, or you could take a double decker buse that will take 30-40 minutes to get to the centre of town.
