Notre maison

Our house has plenty of character with a modern twist. It's set up for couples or families, with a garden, wood-burning stove, flexible sleeping options and equipment for babies and older children. We also have street parking available.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. My wife and I have lived both in the UK and the USA. We love to explore and we now have two young children and we love to adventure together.

Our house is in a quiet, residential neighbourhood within Wimbledon. It's a 20 minute walk (or quicker public transport) into Wimbledon town for shopping and restaurants or up into the village for pubs and walks on the Common. Alternatively, hop on the trains or tubes (District and Northern line) to central London.

Good local pubs, family friendly options in the village and town, whatever you like it is available in London, we will recommend all of the local places but also please just let us know what you would like (date night? special family celebration? a favourite cuisine or something you've always wanted to try? We love to give specific recommendations!
En soirée
Walk to Wimbledon town or tube / train / cab to nightlife in Central London.
Take your pick -- from very local around the corner to the many independent cafes in Wimbledon Village or all of the cafes along the South Bank of the Thames and in central London, there is something for everyone. We will recommend our favourites but also, tell us what you like and we can help you choose!
Endless options, locally and city-wide! The village for something unique, the Broadway for anything you need. Groceries literally just around the corner (local Tesco and Coop), epicerie Bayley and Sage in the village, Waitrose a 20 min walk away, very large grocery store just a bus or 5-min drive away. Elys is the department store in Wimbledon. Easy tube / train journeys to all of the historic and new department stores and design houses in London.
Wimbledon Common (the Windmill, lakes, hiking, biking, golf), The All England Tennis Club has fascinating tours. Wimbledon Village has a quintessential English village feel yet you are still in London. Stables, pubs and independent cafes and shopping. Train / tube to all of the historical sights and landmarks that London has to offer, or train to Hampton Court Palace where there is so much history and parks and an amazing playground and maze.
Up the footpaths to Wimbledon Common, which connects to Richmond Park and Putney Heath.
Un peu d'exercice
Walking, running or cycling along the Thames, through Richmond Park, or up the hill to the village and the common, there are also many leisure centres and pools close by, excellent yoga studio just 10 minutes' walk away and many gyms nearby where day passes are available.
Idées d’excursions
Central London, Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Park, Hiking in the Downs, Drive down to the coast, anything you are interested in, we are so central and can recommend many ideas to match your interests. Even a Eurostar day trip to Paris is very easy, our local train station goes direct to St Pancras for the Eurostar terminal!
