Notre maison

Charming Victorian house located on quiet street 5 minutes from Broadway Market and 10 minutes from Columbia Road Flower Market. The house is arranged over 3 levels and two bedrooms though it can easily sleep 5 (double sofa bed in living room). Featuring a large garden (30m long) with outside dining set up for warm summer evenings and a large trampoline for the kids . Well located for easy access to central London by public transport (30-40 mins max to West End).

  1. Couple with a 15 year old daughter. On our trip to Sweden we will be joined by our daughter's friend who is also 15.

  2. Sarah (London born) is an artist and teaches Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts and Arnaud (from Paris originally) is an artist, publisher and bookseller. Our daughter Esmee is bi-lingual.

We live 5 minutes west from Broadway Market, which is a buzzing organic market street with lots of high end food and coffee shops. We are a couple of minutes away from London Fields and heated Lido. The area of full of leading galleries, design workshops, studios and artisan stores. We are just around the corner from Regents Canal and a ten minute walk to Victoria Park. We are also within walking distance of the famous Columbia Road Flower Market and Brick Lane, where there are lots of restaurants and vintage shops. It takes about 10 minutes by bus to get to the City of London and Liverpool Street Station, and about 25 minutes by tube to get into the West End.

Numerous nightclubs in Dalston and live music venues in Shoreditch. There are also lots of lively pubs (including The Royal Oak (Columbia Road) and The Royal Inn on the Park (in Victoria Park)

Hackney is a diverse community where lots of artists and designers live and work. There are a wealth of contemporary art galleries in the area and a thriving altermative scene with street art and pop up local shops & markets.

The London Fields Lido - Olympic heated outdoor swimming pool which is very close by . Cycling in Victoria Park or along canal to Lea Valley (Three bikes available for use).

Boatrips up the River Thames to Greenwich, Kew Royal Botanical Gardens (train ride), Tate Modern & Hayward Gallery and BFI on the Southbank, The Olympic Park at Stratford.
