Notre maison

Our home is a large Victorian terrace house in central London with many period features. We have adjoining sitting and dining rooms with a piano. There is a spacious kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher. There are three large bedrooms: one with a double bed; one with twin beds; and one with bunk beds. There is a small bedroom with a single bed. There is also a study which could accommodate extra guests. The bathroom has a bath with shower. There is a small toilet next to one of the bedrooms. Outside is a patio garden with flower beds and a table and barbecue for summertime meals. We have a car which would also be available and we can provide children's seats. There are two adult bikes, one which can have a child seat. We have a cat who spends most of her time outside. We live on a friendly street with lots of nice neighbours and a community feel.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. Lisa is a doctor. She grew up in Canada but has been living in London for many years. Bryan is a dentist and is from Scotland. We have 2 daughters aged 2 and 4 and have a new baby on the way. We enjoy traveling. We would look after your home and any pets with care.

We live between Brixton and Herne Hill. Brixton is a lively area with it's own town centre. There is a department store, a market and lots of places to eat, drink and shop. You can eat delicious sour dough pizza, Eritrean food or just stop for a coffee and cake. You can swim at the leisure centre which also has a children's soft play and there is a local library. There is a underground station and it is 12 minutes on the Victoria line to Oxford Circus, in the heart of London's West End where there are theaters and museums within walking distance. At the other end of our street is Herne Hill which again has its own centre but is quieter and has its own train station. There is a large and beautiful park with an outdoor swimming pool, walled garden, duck ponds, tennis courts, a cafe and a play ground. It is the ideal place for a summer picnic and in June there is a country fair. If you fancy a trip to the beach then you can head for Brighton which is about an hour and half away by car or public transport.
