Notre maison

We live in a beautifully renovated family house in central London, in an area known as 'between the commons' due to the huge parklands on either side of the area. Stripped wooden floorboards downstairs, a sunny and inviting, fully renovated kitchen with dining area and south facing sun trap of a terraced garden, great for BBQ's in the summer! It's a wider than a normal Victorian house, the receptions rooms are spacious yet homely. We have two young children each with their own rooms, and a further two double bedrooms both en suite(bath and shower). On street Parking...machine on road or all day passes available if required.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. My husband and I are both professionals in the entertainment business (marketing and management) and we have two children; a boy of 13 and a girl of 11. We also have a young and very sweet cat called Coco! I'm Australian and so try and travel home every year or so to see family and friends, so we are always looking out for suitable swaps in Sydney. We have done eight swaps to date and found the experiences very positive and extremely worthwhile. We're sure that our house provides a perfect base to experience London with all it has to offer and look forward to arranging our next swaps in 2017.

We live just behind the popular Northcote Road which has a lively market each weekend, and draws people from all over London. There are many restaurants and bars that keep the area buzzing day and night and so many boutique shops that the street is commonly thought of as 'the Kings Road of the South'. (Whistles/Jack White/Kath Kidston/Fat Face/Jigsaw and many gorgeous children's clothing outlets and fashion boutiques for both men and women). We are a few minutes walk from both Wandsworth and Clapham Commons, lovely places to walk and perfect for families with numerous playgrounds and ponds full of ducks and swans. It's a great place for both families and those looking for a more 'lively' social experience. Clapham Junction train station is a ten minute walk and from there you can be in the centre of London in 8 minutes. Or historic Richmond in less than twenty minutes. Trains go all over the country direct from Clapham making our house a perfect base to explore the south of England.
