Notre maison

Our home is a semi-detached house on a quiet cul-de-sac which leads up onto the South Downs. It is comfortable, open plan and spacious, with a fireplace in the living room and French windows opening to front garden. From the top of the house at the back are exquisite views looking out onto the fields and hills in the distance. You can watch the sunset on our comfortable verandah. The bottom garden has a trampoline, swings, and a pingpong table is available. There are 5 bikes (2 adult, 3 children).

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. We are a family of 4. My name is Sacha and I would like to travel with my 3 children: Sofia 10, Jaia 14 and Noah. I am Swiss/English. We have lived in this lovely village with its friendly community for 10 years and we love it. I work part time as a Quality Assessment supervisor for a charity working with deprived teenagers and have just trained as a counsellor. We have always loved travelling and did our first home exchange in 2012 to Spain and think it is an ideal and cheaper way for us to get away as a family. We would like to make contact by email (and phone) to get to know our exchange family previous to our visits. My ex husband, Oliver lives 1 mile away and is available to help with any of your needs or enquiries. We also have a lovely big dog, Sunny, but he can go and stay with Oliver, unless of course you would like to look after him? We look forward to hearing from you.

Our small village of Kingston is situated in an area of ONB (Outstanding Natural Beauty) and is soon to become Britain's latest National Park. It has a primary school, a pub, a village green and a church. The road we live on is a quiet one which leads onto the South Downs. All our neighbours and friendly and quiet. Within 1 mile is the town of Lewes, which has many privately owned shops as well as supermarkets and market every Friday. 7 miles away is the famous town of Brighton right on the sea, with its many attractions including the Brighton Pier, the Pavillion, cinemas, nightclubs and the famous Lanes for trendy and original shops. There are many opportunities for both music events, theatre and cinema. Just 4 miles from Kingston is the sea with many pebbled beaches and the famous Seven Sisters cliffs. Also 4 miles away is the famous Glyndebourne Opera House. Many artists, University Professors, writers and musicians live in this area.
