Availability May 2013 & 2014 for one week.

The Luxury Lodge is at Slaley Hall. It has its own private garden and sauna. There is an additional 1000 acres more of majestic woodland and moorlands to explore on foot or on bike.

You will have access to 2 Championship Golf Courses as well as a flood lit driving range. Staying at the lodge provides access to use of the golf courses(fee is required):

Available is a sumptuous spa and fitness complex, swimming pools both for children and adults, communal sauna, steam room are also for you to use while stopping at the lodge.

There are listed walks and the Japanese Gardens to stroll in.

Choice of Restaurants, Cocktail Bar and Whisky Snug on site:

There is a huge range of other activities from Quad Biking to Clay Pigeon Shooting, 4x4 off road driving and much more for both adults and children. "All Out Aventures"

May is a blissful time to visit Northumberland which is generally warm, fresh growth of spring flowers, the week falls during the early May Bank Holiday.

  1. We are Gwawr and Stephen. Gwawr is in her late fifties and is a Welsh tutor for Bangor University. I am 60 and looking to part retire from my Financial Services business. Our home is in Gogledd Cymru, North Wales in English.

    We have two timeshares for exchange. This one is in Northumberland and the other is on Loch Lomond, Scotland reference 54332

Northumberland is unspoilt, undiscovered and one of the most beautiful areas in England and was once a former Kindom in its own right.

Northumberland vistor such as or are a good start for ideas.

Northumberland has its own unique heritiage with its own little know language, a common mistake is to think that this is a dialect. The language derives from Angle-Northumbrian from a King Ida speech Northumberland has its own interesting flag which you spot everywhere a proud people

You here for a holiday, there is lots and lots to do. Hadrians Wall is quite near as are a number of other interesting places, if your a shopper Newcastle and Gateshead are not that far.

Newcastle (45mins in car), Gateshead about 3/4 of an hour, both have great shopping, art galleries and everything in between. There is easy access to Newcastle airport and the sea ports as well.

There is the city of Durham which has been voted the top city in England and the second best city to visit in the UK, it takes less than an hour to drive

The Angel of the North one of Anthony Gormleys famous works, well worth the trip as is less than an hour away h

Lindsfarne sometimes know as Holy Island (2 hours drive) a must see. Cross a tidal causeway, beware tide timings are crucial or get stranded. St Aidan from Iona established a monestry here in 664.

Kielder Forest has lots and lots of outdoor activies it is about one and a half housr drive

Lets not forget a visit to Harry Potters castle the kids will love it, just under 1 hour 30 minuets drive.

Bamburgh Castle surrounded by wonderful coastline, 2 hours drive

Close by is Blanchland described as "The Perfect English Village" with its quirk pub and hotel The Lord Crewe Arms Hotel which was a former abbey is only 10 minuets away

Not so far is the lovelly town of Corbridge (20 minuets) well worth a couple of hours stop. Corbridge was once the capital and it replaced Bamburgh. It is claimed to be one of the most attractive places in Northumberland.

Birdwatching or twitchers and the Farne Islands

Fishing, anglers could fish The Tweed internationally famous for its salmon fishing, with people coming from all over the world to fish it there is also sea fishing to be had.
