Notre maison

Our house was built in the 1930's. It is spacious but modestly decorated.
On the ground floor there is a dining room, kitchen and living room which looks out onto the garden. Although it has 5 bedrooms, these do not all have beds in them! We have 3 single beds and one double and a young child/cot bed. There are a couple of spare mattresses if necessary. The two older children are boys so there are lots of boys toys filling up the playroom!
The garden is lovely to sit in in the warm weather.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. I am not working at present as I am looking after the children. Mike used to work for the BBC but is now a production manager for an internet based communications company.
We both loved travelling before we had children and especially fell in love with South America. However since long haul destinations are rather harder to manage with young children we are very happy to explore closer to home.
We would like initially to spend a week in Venice at Spring half term ( May/June) and then have weekends away in Britain.
We have a beautiful black and grey tabby cat called Tiger that would need to be looked after. He is very friendly and 'talks' a lot to people.

The house is located in the North London suburb called Muswell Hill. The nearest tube station is East Finchley a 10/15 minute walk away with direct access to the centre of London, with all its attractions. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
It is said that London is a collection of villages. Our 'village' (a 10 minute walk away) has all one could want in the way of shops and restaurants as do the neighbouring 'villages' of Highgate, Crouch End and Hampstead.
There are many parks to explore locally and many woodlands and playgrounds for children. Our nearest little woodlands is at the bottom of our road!
There are local swimming pools and various gymns, golf courses, etc but I expect the main reason to visit London it to see the sights of central London for which you will need a guidebook to explain it all.
