Notre maison

Modernised farmhouse/bungalow set on a Norfolk arable farm.

Massive garden with vegetables and orchard from which produce can be consumed. Outdoor table and chairs next to a stunning pond (fenced for children safety). The house is accessible to your own farm walks and ancient woodland to explore.

There is a farmyard behind the house, however the gardens are all fenced and child and pet friendly. Therefore you can enjoy the grounds at your leisure. A south facing patio allows optimum sunshine and outdoor furniture, swing, hammock, slide, cubby house ensure you can take advantage of the 2 acre garden which features an old wood at the bottom.

There is a large formal/sitting room with grand piano and 45" television, leather lounges, open fire and French doors to patio.
Open plan kitchen features with AGA + induction cooker, electric double oven, butcher's block, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and double sink. As a very keen cook, the kitchen is extensive and has large variety of appliances and facilities.
This compliments an open breakfast area with kitchen bench and stools then leads to couches and family table and chairs south facing to the sun and spacious garden.
There is also a separate formal dining room downstairs capable of seating 6-8 and a cloak room with seperate WC. Off from the kitchen is the utility room which has washing machine and sink. This leads to back door which has covered area housing second American fridge freezer, boot area and access to car port.

The enormous main bedroom features a super king tempur mattress bed with an ensuite with large shower and facilities.
Bedroom 2 features king size bed and views over garden in built wardrobes and loads space.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds which can be converted to a king size. There is a separate playroom from this bedroom. The family bathroom featuring s 6 foot bath, shower and double sinks.
There is a Nursery room also upstairs which has a cot and change table.

  1. We have 3 children, so the house is child friendly but also very comfortable for those without little ones. We are keen to go somewhere just after Christmas for a family holiday.





The International airport of Norwich is located 30 minutes away. Norwich has fabulous shopping Malls and a beautiful and well renowned Cathedral while also offering fantastic dining of all styles.
Trains from Norwich to London Liverpool Street (2 hour travel time) depart every half an hour.
Trains from Kings Lynn to London Kings Cross (1.5 hour travel time) depart hourly. Kings Lynn is also half an hour from our house by car or regular bus service.
The beautiful University town of Cambridge is accessible by Kings Lynn train or only an hour's drive away. Ely, which has an incredible Cathedral is situated only a further 20 minutes.
We are very close to wonderful Market towns and only 20 minutes from the divine Norfolk coast. Holt, Holkham, Burnham Market very near by. Gorgeous village pubs or gastronomic dining easily accessible. Fabulous local shopping. 5 miles from Fakenham which has weekly markets and all conveniences for shopping.
Stunning and stately homes like Sandringham, Holkham, Blickling etc within close proximity.
Seaside locations such as Wells-Next-Sea, Cromer, Sheringham and Hunstanton are also very nearby and offer a large range of both family and couples activities.
