Lovely modern 2 bedroom apartment, very close to city centre. it is located on the top floor (3rd, no lift). Every major tourist attraction is within easy walking distance, together with restaurants, theatre and cinemas. The apartment blocks are factored by a property management company which means the communal areas are well maintained and cleaned once per week. This is a very quiet and private stair which benefits from a secure door entry system for extra security. This is a very comfortable apartment with two double bedrooms, both with double beds, flat screen TVs and fitted wardrobes. The main bedroom has a newly fitted en suite shower room. There is a well equipped kitchen area just off the lounge with washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, nespresso coffee maker and dish washer. There is a further spacious bathroom with shower. There is a combi boiler in the kitchen which gives constant hot water. The lounge has cable TV and hi fi with surround sound, wireless broadband point and a 4 person dining area. The apartments also benefit from private parking.

  1. I am Margaret and am 49 years old. I work in local government as a graphic designer. I have had several successful exchanges and enjoy seeing new countries as a resident rather than as a tourist. We are keen to visit either New York or Rome but are also open to all suggestions. I am very fond of my home and would treat yours with complete respect. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the UK.





The apartment is located in the popular Easter Road area of Edinburgh which has a wide variety of traditional pubs and shops and is a 10 minute walk to the Royal Mile and Princes Street, a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you down Leith Walk and to the lovely Shore area where there is a wealth of top class bars, cafes and restaurants. There is also a regular bus service to town. The apartment is tucked behind Easter Road which makes it very quiet and peaceful although it is still next to one of Edinburgh's main streets. The apartment also benefits from a private parking space. Edinburgh is a beautiful historic city with many world famous landmarks, including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palce, Rosslyn Chapel, Scottish Parliament and numerous galleries and museums. Edinburgh is also a great city to use as a base to travel around Scotland, with excellent train and bus links.
