Notre maison

We have a beautiful house in the quite town of East Grinstead. It has three bedrooms, one single and two double. There is a living room with open plan access to the kitchen/dining area, a study/reception and seperate utility/laundry room. There is a courtyard garden and private parking. It's a good sized house dating from the mid 16th Century with many period features including wood panelling and oak beams reused by the original builders from ships of the 14th century.

En savoir plus sur nous

  1. My name is Phil and I am a theatre director and writer. Catherine, my wife, is a psychotherapist. She works between her offices in London and East Grinstead. We have a 15-year-old son.

East Grinstead is only 50 minutes from Central London by train. Our house is a 10min walk from the station.

The fashionable seaside resort of Brighton and historic English towns such as Lewis and Royal Tunbridge Wells are also in easy access.

Our house is situated in a conservation area which boasts the longest row of Tudor Houses in England.

We are only minutes from the Mid Sussex countryside with its quintessential English pubs and villages and the beautiful Ashdown Forest (home of A. A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh) that has lots of trails for hiking or picturesque areas for picnics.

London Gatwick Airport is 30 minutes away by car.
