Quartier

Lossiehall is in the village of Liff, near Dundee in Scotland. It is an ideal touring base for most of the North East area of Scotland. It provides easy access to the beautiful Angus glens yet is only 75 minutes from our capital city of Edinburgh and a similar time from our largest city of Glasgow. However, you would not need to venture far afield as there are a multitude of activities in the immediate vicinity and I list a sample of them here: Skiing; Golf; Leisure Pool & Complex; Hill Walking; Salmon & Trout Fishing; Whisky Trail; Safari Park; Water Sports; Castles etc. etc. St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Gleneagles (Home of the Ryder Cup 2014), and Rosemount Championship Golf Courses are all within 20-40 minutes drive. There are many more golf courses in the immediate area. Some of the best Salmon fishing in the World is available on the rivers Tay, and Spey amongst others. Angus and Perthshire are both steeped in history. The Stone of Destiny which has recently returned to Scotland was originally from Scone Palace, some 25 miles west, this was the ancient crowning place of many Scots Kings and is open to the Public, it is well worth a visit as is Falkland Palace where one of the few remaining 'real tennis' courts still exists and indeed is still played on today.
